Graded Care Profile 2 (GCP2) Training
This course is for any professional whose role may involve contact with children, including those in social care, early help, health (primary care, mental health, accident and emergency, midwifery, health visiting, sexual health), police, adoption services, fostering services, education (early years, child minders, primary schools, secondary schools, specialist provision, colleges, sixth forms), housing and any other relevant services in contact with children, young people, parent(s) or carer(s).
Learning outcomes for GCP2 Training for Practitioners:
- Become licensed to use the GCP2
- Consolidate knowledge in relation to neglect
- Know how GCP2 fits in with local practice in Walsall
Following the GCP2 1 day training course, practitioners will be required to attend an Action Learning Set approximately 6-8 weeks following their training to share how they are using GCP2 in practice, what is going well and any barriers.
